Ready for the Weekend?

The NBA gets into full swing starting tonight with 13 games slated. With the big off seasons acquisitions by the Boston Celtics, all eyes will be on Bean town as they host the Washington Wizards. Will one basketball be enough for Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen? It's an 82 game season but we can't wait to start doing what we do best.....second guessing!

Saturday brings us a lot of interesting college football match-ups. LSU - Alabama is intriguing. Les Miles versus Nick Saban. I see an upset brewing.....take the Tide and the 7 points.

The biggest game of the day will take place on the west coast featuring undefeated Arizona State visiting Oregon. Say what you want about Dennis Erickson......the man can coach. However.....Oregon is for real....lay the 71/2 and take the Ducks.

And then.....comes Sunday! Game of the year....the decade.....the century? We will see. Both teams are undefeated, well coached -- with great quarterbacks & receivers. The Patriots are a 5 point road favorite (unheard of in the NFL) and have this rather large chip on their shoulder. The entire world is picking New England.......but.....I have this funny feeling....Tony Dungee .....he of great defensive schemes....will have an answer for the Brady Bunch. Take the points....and Indy.

And finally.....Hollywood is sending to theatres this weekend a movie starring Denzel Washington called , "American Gangster " . Russell Crowe co-stars. I've only seen a few previews ...but this film could be "all that " & then some . Check out "The Young, Black, & Fabulous" review:
Have a great weekend.........& do something that will make you smile!
