"Clueless" in Seattle

Last night on Monday Night Football...on the last play of the game...a funny thing happened.

The Seattle Sea Hawks beat the Green Bay Packers on a "Hail Mary" pass that looked to most of us like an interception.  One ref ruled it that way....while another ref signaled a touchdown.

These refs are replacement refs.......The regular refs are locked out in a contract dispute.

Here's how the headlines across American looked this morning:

Chad Johnson....is Still a Worthless...Punk

Hey....It is what it is...

I'm Taking Anger Management Classes

091912_chad_nlf_launch
Chad Johnson says he's enrolled in anger management classes ... to learn how to suppress his rage so he doesn't have another violent altercation like the one with his ex-wife.

Johnson made the announcement during an interview with James Brown on "Inside the NFL" ... saying, " I'm trying to find out how can I channel my anger when I'm in situations to where I would pop off."

During the interview, which airs tonight on Showtime, Johnson says he takes full responsibility for the headbutting incident with Evelyn Lozada ... and says, "I think what I need to do is work on Chad."

Johnson has been through anger counseling before -- as we previously reported, Chad was ordered to complete a domestic violence program after battering a former GF back in 2000.

Chad also says he believes the Miami Dolphins cut him from the team solely based on the domestic incident  and NOT because of his performance on the field.

"That was the reason ... there's no need to blow smoke up my ass."

We broke the story ... Johnson officially became a single man earlier today after a judge signed off on his divorce from Lozada ... a divorce he was trying like hell to prevent from happening.

Johnson says he's no longer on speaking terms with Evelyn ... explaining, "There's nothing I can say to her because she's already heard it all ... what can I say ... actions speak louder than words and this is the time for me to show action."

Remembering 9/11

Wow!   Has it really been eleven years?

Do you remember where you were?   What you were doing?

I remember.   Went to work that morning with the news that some idiot plane ran into one of the World Trade Center buildings.   Then things started to unravel.   Another plane hit.   Then another at the Pentagon.

The Mall I was in ....closed....shut down.    And for the next 24 hours my eyes were glued to the television.   It was the first and only time in my life time that all 300 + cable channels and regular channels were carrying the coverage of the event that forever changed our life style and country...the United States of America.

The country was united.   There were no Republicans or Democrats.   We were all Americans who shared this horrific tragedy.

We remember.....yesterday:

"Old Man Football" ... ain't Bad

Sometimes ...the less you say...the better.  The University of Missouri learned the hard way:

Up by 21 points with the clock winding down, Georgia's fan contingent, mostly concentrated in one corner of the end zone, chanted ''Old Man Football! Old Man Football!'' That was in reference to comments by excitable Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson, who said he turned off the TV last week during Georgia's opening victory over Buffalo because he was unimpressed with the Bulldogs' no-frills style of play.

R.I.P. Michael Clarke Duncan

Our prays are with his family....

Michael Clarke Duncan
Dead at 54

Exclusive Details
0903_Michael-Clarke-Duncan_gettyMichael Clarke Duncan, star of such movies as "The Green Mile" and "The Whole Nine Yards," passed away this morning. He was 54.

According to our sources, his passing came very suddenly. We're told his fiancee, Omarosa Manigault, was with him in his hospital room in Los Angeles and left for a short period of time. When she returned ... he had died.

Our sources say Omarosa's mother was with him when he passed.

Duncan's rep tells TMZ the actor never fully recovered from the myocardial infarction he suffered on July 13. As TMZ first reported, Omarosa found Duncan in cardiac arrest and performed CPR and was able to resuscitate him before calling 911.

The rep tells us, "[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."

Duncan was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of John Coffey in "The Green Mile." He worked as a bodyguard for celebrities like Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, and Notorious B.I.G. before he got his break.
