It's been said.....it's been written.
On any given Sunday.....any NFL team can win.
But on a Tuesday? The Minnesota Vikings were a 14 point underdog to the Philadelphia Eagles last night....and low and behold....with a 3rd string QB...
The Vikings beat the Michael Vick led Eagles, 24-14.
Two views...

On Any Given Sunday....Or perhaps a Tuesday
Pathetic. Terrible. Two days after clinching the NFC East with help from the Green Bay Packers, a disgusted Andy Reid used those words to describe a flat, sloppy, 24-14 loss to Minnesota on Tuesday night that cost the Eagles any shot at a first-round playoff bye and that left quarterback Michael Vick limping with a bruised thigh.
Vikings 24, Philadelphia 14
After the teams waited two days for better weather, the game was full of Vikings wonders and Eagles blunders.

The Last Act....of a Selfish Man
Leave it to Brett Favre....to go out with a bang...on Monday Night Football.
How selfish it was for Favre......to start a game for the 5-8 Vikings....who had already been eliminated from the play-offs.
So when he got slammed on his head....on the frozen turf....in the first quarter......Favre got his "just deserts".
Now......can he just go....away?
