He's ........Their Daddy?

21 kids........by 11 different women?

Yes.......some
moron in Tennessee is attempting to repopulate the world.......all by himself. And .....these have to be the 11 most ignorant, desperate, and gullible females in all the world.

And this guy is only 29..........and has never been told .....of .....perhaps.......the wearing of a condom? And these 11 women..........There is such a thing........as "birth control".

Who eventually pays? The taxpayers...........Us..........

In my court of life........this guy would be sentence to life...........Life, without .....a penis ......and without testicles.......

From dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews:

Man fathers 21 children by 11 different women... and he's only 29

A man aged 29 has fathered 21 children with 11 different women, it emerged yesterday.

Desmond Hatchett's brood came to light after authorities in Tennessee in the U.S. took him to court for non-payment of child support.

He has apparently set a U.S. record but said: 'It just happened.'

He added that he would not have any more children. 'I'm done. I'll say I'm done,' he said.

Hatchett, who earns a minimal wage, told TV reporters he knows the names and ages of all his offspring.

Their ages range from newborn to 11 years old.

Authorities in Knoxville said they plan to take half of his monthly salary to pay for the youngsters but officials said that would work out to just over $1 a week for each.

His lawyer Keith Pope said: 'The children can't all be supported by Desmond, so the state of Tennessee has had to step in.'

Many Knoxville residents called for him to be castrated.

He even boasted of fathering four children by different women in the same year.

Hatchett's name appeared on court documents 11 times representing 15 of his 21 children.

U.S. authorities are now braced for more women coming forward to claim Hatchett is the father of their children after he appeared on local TV.

He said the women he was involved with all knew he had other children.

One mother, who has two children with Hatchett, said she should get $44 a month but rarely receives any child support.

'It's frustrating, but usually, when I ask he gives it to me,' she said.

Authorities in Knoxville ordered Hatchett to court to explain how he intends to pay child support.

He arrived for the hearing with just over $300.

Child support?........child support? And I thought I had it rough.......with 1 child....

Hump Day News & Views

From NBC Sports...........

Such a sad story:

Mike Tyson's Daughter Dies After Treadmill Accident

The 4-year-old daughter of boxing champion Mike Tyson has died after her neck apparently got caught in a cord dangling from a treadmill at their home. Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time of the accident, but immediately returned home to Phoenix when his young daughter was hospitalized.

Exodus' 7-year-old brother found her and told their mother, who was in another room. She took Exodus off the cord, called 911 and tried to revive her.

With everything that has happened to Mr. Tyson in his life..........this may be the toughest ever to deal with. The loss of a child..........so young.

We send our condolences to the entire Tyson family......

What ..........a tragedy.

We sure didn't see this one coming.......but we should have.....

The Orlando Magic beat the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, 116-114, in overtim
e to take that proverbial "commanding" 3-1 lead in the best of 7 NBA Eastern Conference Finals.

How did we get here? Cleveland boasted the best record in league..........66-16. Then these Cav's destroyed Detroit and Atlanta........in 4-0.......and 4-0. They have the reigning MVP in LeBron James.......They play defense.......They play with high energy.

So...........how can the Magic .......be so close to winning this series?

Let's take ........a closer look.....at both teams. Cleveland has one bona fide superstar, Mr. James. (Following Game 4, James, averaging 42.3 points, 7.3 rebound and 7.3 assists)

Orlando? They have the games' best center (offensively and defensively) in Dwight Howard. They also have a budding superstar in Rashard Lewis( a 6' 10" swing man), a wily veteran in Hedo Turkoglu ( a 6' 10" European) who can play guard or forward, and ..........a veteran point guard in Rafer Alston........who is simply out playing all-star wanna be , Mo Williams.........and support.......off the bench.

The Magic is much more balanced.......and have more talent. It was there.....always there....We just listened a bit too much to those "sports talking geeks" who already had the finals of the NBA played out....with Kobe versus LeBron.

It could still happen..........but we don't think so.

Other "stuff".......we're keeping an eye..........and an ear on.......

GM says bondholder offer fails; bankruptcy likely
............So what happened to all that bail-out money? I told you so.....We should have let them fail back in December of '08.......This was so.......inevitable.

Obama picks Sotomayor for Supreme Court

Rush Limbaugh already wants her to fail........nothing new there....... So we know.....she will succeed.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh......only in America.

Gotta love it....

Have a great "Hump Day"!

Things ....From the Week-end....Learned & More

Rain.....rain.......and more rain.......

In
this southern college town.....the rain has been constantly ......sporadic....... Rain, sun, rain....This has been going on for the past seven days. The garden is loving it........the lawn is almost all green now. And the drought we've suffered the past couple of years........seems a distant memory.

Memorial Day, 2009........

Did you pause.......at 3:00 pm? And remember all the men and women of the armed forces who paid the ultimate price ......with their lives?

NBA Play-offs........

Neither Cleveland nor Los Angeles appear to be a sure thing for the finals.....Denver and Orlando are making their own cases. Cleveland.......except for that miracle shot by LeBron....should be down 0-3...........And the Lakers? They looked slow and un-physical last night. Kobe and LeBron...........could use some help. Can you hear me .......now?

Braves sweep Toronto.......

Yes..........the Atlanta Braves swept the Toronto Blue Jays ..........3 games to none....Hitting.......scoring runs.......great pitching.......These Braves are only a game and a half out of first place..........Who would of "thunk" it!

Here come the Yankees........

Given up for dead a week ago........the Yanks reeled off 7 in a row........with A-Rod back.....and are now within a game of Boston for the lead in the AL East. Still.......the best team .......money can buy.

Which was better? The Indy 500......or the Coca-cola 600?

The Indy race........with 300,000 fans.......looked good on TV..........but still no drama.......At Charlotte, the Coca-cola 600 had the misfortune of "mother natures' " rain.......Both failed me. Just wasn't interested.......Also ........at the Coca-cola 600 ......on Sunday.......The "fly by" by the Navy's f-14's.......was a bit premature.......They flew by .......in the middle of the "National Anthem".......as opposed to flying by ..........at the end........which is what was planned.

All in all?

A great week-end..........even though the sports world......was a bit.....sub par. But I guess thats what friends and families are for.

Catch......Shoot..........Win!!!!!!!!

In case you missed it..........

Courtesy of NBA.com, YouTube, and our friends at TNT.......

Enjoy........

Hump Day News & Views

If it's Wednesday......it must be "Hump Day"....

I'm tired.....so let us be brief.....
Here is few headlines.......the sports world is a yakking about. And.......I'm too tired to be yakking.....So I leave it to the big boys ....on this day to do the actual writing.......

In the News: Some things we're following.......

Wife's Illness Leads Mickelson to Suspend Season - New York Times

Real life........is a mother -f*****....Our thoughts and prayers to the Mickelson family.

Ex-NFL star Vick leaves prison, heads for Va. home - The Associated Press

And the media frenzy goes on..........

Cleveland parties for the Cavs as Orlando series gets under way - The Plain Dealer - cleveland.com

As Moses Malone once said, " fo, fo, and fo".......Will the "Cavs " ever lose a play-off game? So for , the boys from Cleveland are "fo, fo ".......As in sweeping Detroit and Atlanta...."Fo, fo, and fo"? It's still a possibility........

Things.......I .......think I think.....

American Idol........
ain't what it used to be.......

Oprah Winfrey........is the most powerful voice.......in America.....

Dick Cheney.....should crawl back under that proverbial rock........and stay there....

I just........love.......our President.......Mr. Obama........you are all right with me........

Are they........still playing .......Hockey?

Have a great .........."Hump Day"........

The Michael Vick Saga......goes ....on & on & on.....

Tomorrow........

Wednesday, May 20, 2009..........

That is the day Michael Vick is scheduled to be released from a federal prison in Kansas. Due to the high profile nature of this case.......the "feds" are very tight lipped on the actual time of his release.

It could be at 12:01..........Wednesday morning........or 11:59.......Wednesday night......or sometime in between.

We just don't know.....

But this ........we do know......the protesters.......mainly .......PETA.......will be out in force.

Now I have a message to those "People for the ethical treatment of Animals " ( PETA) folks..........Get your signs.......your posters.......ready.

Ready.......as when Vick goes to work in a pre-arranged construction job making $10 dollars an hour. Protest there.... and I will applaud you for your cause.

Don't wait until Vick is on an NFL team..........and then you come out and protest......That will tell me.....and the rest of the nation.......PETA is just looking for publicity.

I say all this...........knowing those gutless PETA people........w
ill not be on the construction site......They want the TV cameras for the real thing.....When Vick gets back to the NFL.

And this is wrong.

Vick..........has paid his debt to society ........He has lost everything.......He deserves a second chance.

There are 32 NFL teams ...........meaning there are 32 starting quarterbacks...........Are all 32 better than Michael Vick?

I think not..........

Some team........some owner........some General Manager........must.....muster up some balls.....and go after Vick.

As for PETA?

Aren't there some whales........that need saving?

"SNL" versus TNT and Barkley

You know you have made it when..........

Saturday Night Live.....does a spoof on you. Charles Barkley and his network.....TNT were the butt of this latest SNL skit.

Kenan Thompson does not do a good Charles.......but the white guy sure looks a lot like Ernie....and SNL does a great job pointing out just how annoying all those on screen promos for upcoming shows are for us fans........who just want their sports.

Take a look:

Things We Learned.......From the Week-end

Beaten.....and outrun........by a girl......

Yes, it happened in Baltimore........at the Preakness Stakes.......at the Pimlico Racetrack. This is the second leg of the three biggest races of thorough bred horse racing in the calender year.

A filly..........a female........a three year old.......dominated her male counter parts. She led from virtually start to finish........holding off Kentucky Derby winner, "Mind that Bird" by a half length.

Her name? Fittingly......"Rachel Alexandra"........

And on this day..........this female.......this filly........the only girl.....out ran........out performed.......out classe
d....every horse in the field.

In the past........I
have been quite critical of Women's sports........particularly basketball....I am not a fan of female announcers........nor do I like women who want to play Men's sports.

That said..........these ........are horses....

They all have 4 legs.......they all look basically the same......."Rachel Alexandra"........just happened to be born........a female.

From the Baltimore Sun:
Female fans cheer for Rachel Alexandra

I love it..........the new face of feminist........everywhere........

A horse!

What's happened..........to these "Dawgs"?

It seemed like only yesterday........we were bragging on the University of Georgia's men's baseball team.......affectionately known as the "Diamond Dawgs".....A month ago, Georgia was ranked number one in the nation..........and in first place in the SEC.

Now........after getting swept.......in South Carolina this week-end, (3 losses to the Gamecocks), these Dawgs have now lost 13 of their last 14 conference games.

After getting off to a stellar start........these guys........can't hit......field.....or pitch.

Baseball is a funny game. I played it........as did my brothers.......It is the only sport in which you can fail........7 out o
f 10 times at the plate.....and still have an above average......batting average of .300...

You can hit the ball.......square on the button.....and hit a line drive ...out.......right at someone.....or.....you can just get a piece of it.....and slice it in no man's land.....for a double.

This is what UGA is g
oing through........time to regroup.....throw away all those headlines......get ready for the post-season....and play some ball.

Monday.......short shorts.....

Happy trails.....Tony Kornheiser....

Gruden to replace Kornheiser on MNF

Kornheiser has quit his gig as a commentator on ESPN's Monday Night Football....Our take? Good riddance....It's about the
game.....not talking heads..

Major League Baseball.......finally gets it...

Earlier start times for postseason baseball on Fox

It's about time.......Fox Sports and MLB have figured out....we folks that live on the east coast..would like to be able to watch a World Series game.....So they have moved up the starts.......45 minutes.......it's a start.

It is May.......isn't it?

In this southern college town.......last night.....the temperature was 47 degrees..........hardly welcomed.....in the deep south. I even turned on the heat....in my car? Global warming?

When?

Have a great Monday........

Wayman...........We Hardly knew You

From the Kansas City Star newspaper.......

Former Sooners basketball star Tisdale dies at 44

He stood..........6' 9" and weighed 240 pounds.

A scoring machine..........Tisdale, remains the all-time leading scorer at the University of Oklahoma........and had a stellar career.....with 12 seasons in the NBA.

From Wikipedia..........

Tisdale was born in Fort Worth, Texas[1]. His father, Louis Tisdale, was a well-known pastor in Tulsa, Oklahoma serving for 28 years as senior pastor of Friendship Church; after his death in 1997, the former Osage Expressway in Tulsa was named L. L. Tisdale Parkway in his honor.[2] Wayman's older brother Weldon has been pastor of the church since 1997.[3]

Growing up, Tisdale was not interested in basketball; when Weldon and another older brother, William, played pickup games in their yard, he usually quit before they finished, retreating to the family's sandbox. However, Tisdale began taking to the sport in the eighth grade when he first learned to dunk.

He met his future wife Regina in April 1981 at church. At the time, they were juniors at different Tulsa high schools, and she did not know he was one of the most heavily-recruited basketball players in the country.

Tisdale called music his "first love". He was a self-taught musician; he never took any lessons, never knew what key any of the pieces he played is written in, or even the names of the notes. Throughout his youth, continuing through his college basketball career, he played bass guitar at his father's church. Music and church were so important to Tisdale that after recruiting him to the University of Oklahoma, Sooners head coach Billy Tubbs changed the team's practice schedule to accommodate Tisdale, moving the team's Sunday practice from the morning to the evening to allow him to play in the Sooners' band and at morning services in his father's church in Tulsa.

Back in the day........Wayman Tisdale........was a "baller".

May he rest in peace.
