The inevitable has happened. The Atlanta Hawks lost last night...to the New Orleans Pelicans. The streak is over.
A Hawk...lost to a ...Pelican.
Really?
Let's start another streak...ok?

The Atlanta Hawks are rapidly becoming the talk of the "Association".
Best record in the east.
Beating up on the vaunted west.
Our...Atlanta Hawks!

And....so much for that. But it was good while it lasted. A very good run.
Losing on a last second shot...on the road ...in a hostile environment?
It ain't the end of the world.
So we're still with you...Hawks!

Leave it to our Atlanta Falcons...to lose a game. But to lose ...the way they did?
Up 24-23 with 44 seconds left? Calling needless timeouts? Not able to stop Cleveland...once...on that final drive?
We're done!

An open letter to Todd Gurley:
Dear Todd,
We acknowledge you are an exceptional football player with extraordinary talents. Fact is though...you have never played an entire season. Last year you got hurt. This year you were suspended. 4 games. You then...for reasons we cannot understand ...decided to come back and play in the final 3 games.
Why?
An NFL running back has a career longevity of about 3.5 years. You were going to be a 1st round draft pick...You should have told Georgia...thanks...but no thanks. "I have made the University millions of dollars...let me earn my degree...and move on ...to the NFL."
But no! Instead...you came back to play in a college football game...tore your ACL on your knee...will need surgery....and possibly...cost you and the family.....millions.
Why?
