A Series...to Remember

A funny thing happened last night.  I watched...along with millions all over the world...a basketball game.

Of course this was not any ordinary game.   This was game 7.  This was for the championship of the world.

An even with the late start...after 9 pm on the east coast, my eyes stayed wide open for this masterpiece.

We applaud the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs for putting on quite a show in 7 grueling games.

When Sports "Talkies" Try to be Funny

Even in the year...2013...There is a line drawn.   You can make jokes...tell jokes...be jokes.

But you must remember your format.

These 3 clowns at 790the Zone in the ATL ...forget their audience.  Made a stupid joke...had some laughs...and now join ...the world or the...unemployed.

It's a 2 out of 3 Series...Now!

Great game last night...If you are a Heat fan.

From the Miami Herald:

LeBron James attempts to get around the Spurs' Kawhi Leonard in the first quarter of Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center on Thursday, June 13, 2013.

NBA FINALS, GAME 4: HEAT 109, SPURS 93

Big 3 helps Miami Heat level series with Spurs

Dwyane Wade scored 32 points, LeBron James added 33, and Chris Bosh chipped in 20 as the Heat assured at least one more game in Miami.

And from the San Antonio Express News:

Heat 109, Spurs 93 (final): The Heat executed a 52-point turnaround from Game 3, rebounding from the third-worst beating in Finals history to even the score with an emphatic victory in Game 4. This Could be ....A Sweep!

Yes, it's just one game....out of a 7 game series.  But watching last night's San Antonio's win...it leads to an awful lot of questions regarding the Miami Heat.

Great game.  Close....But here's what we saw.

Miami has no answer to Tony Parker.  He drove into the lane with ease....Passed to open men...and hit crucial after crucial jumpers.

Team defense.  San Antonio did not shut the big three down (LeBron, Dwayne, & Bosh)...but their team oriented defense limited those Miami runs...those 10-0....15-2 runs.   Miami could not get out on the fast breaks.

Yes, it's just one game....but the Heat is in big trouble.
