Air Jordan...Times Two
Seems Michael Jordan and his new bride have been kind of busy.
From Sports Illustrated:
Michael Jordan, wife Yvette welcome birth of twin daughters

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that Estee Portnoy, Jordan’s spokeswoman, confirmed the Feb. 9 births of Victoria and Ysabel.
“Yvette Jordan and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival,” Portnoy said in a statement.
After a Hall of Fame career that included six championships with the Bulls in the 1990s, Jordan retired from basketball in 2003, becoming majority owner of the Bobcats in 2010.
Jordan, 50, had relocated to Florida with Yvette, 35, in recent years. Back in October, he decided tried to auction off his Chicago-area mansion after it failed to fetch its original $29 million asking price. The house did not receive any bids that met the auction’s $13 million reserve price.
“My kids are grown now and I don’t need a large house in Chicago,” Jordan told the Wall Street Journal at the time. “It was time for some warmer weather down at my new home in Florida.”

MJ...Does It....Again
I don't know...I Just don't know. I have been married...divorced. Met a lot of women. Been with a lot of women.
I once thought I was in love. Being ..."in love" ...doesn't necessarily means you actually love the individual. And...you can love someone...without..."being in love".
Making no sense?
Clarification try....I love my ex-wife...the mother of my daughter...but I'm not in love with her. Which leads us to marriages and divorces.
Michael Jordan has been married ...divorced. Now he wants to try this marriage thing once again.
And once again...we ask, Is he in love? Or...does he really love her?

If You Don't Have the Proof....
A big high five is due to our man Michael Jordan. Seems this female who brought a paternity suit against "MJ" ....for a child fathered 16 years ago...has had second thoughts and has withdrawn her suit.
Mr. Jordan, a fierce competitor on the basketball court....counter sued this female.
Obviously, she had no proof. She was going after the money.
Good for you Michael!

True Love??? For MJ???
Hey now.......we're all for people being happy. Even if your name is Michael Jordan.
Apparently....MJ.....has not learned a thing or two in his previous relationship with the former Mrs. Jordan. (Sport Divorces - Michael Jordan )
Wonder how much this will cost him....Marriage.....and you know they'll eventually divorce.
What a waste........But......hey, it could be true love.
She is very light skinned......oh wait.......she's white....our bad.

Quite an ...Endorsement!
Now this is an endorsement.....
From GaPeach913...

Michael Jordan: Derrick Rose Is The MVP (VIDEO)
Michael Jordan's showing a little love for his former team.
After the Chicago Bulls tore apart Jordan's Charlotte Bobcats Wednesday night, the former Bull had a lot to say about the Bulls' star point guard, Derrick Rose.
''He's the MVP for the season,'' said Jordan, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. ''He deserves it. He's playing that well. And if he doesn't get it, you'll see how I felt a lot of years.''
Rose scored 20 points and had 6 assists against Charlotte, and the Bulls have already clinched a playoff berth, reports ESPN. The potential MVP is averaging 24.5 points per game.
Jordan himself is a 5-time MVP. Rose, though humble, said it was "an honor" to have MJ refer to him like that, according to the Sun-Times.

The Battle of the Shoes

Marcus Jordan....would be just another incoming freshman basketball player....at a mid major college....if his last name was something other than....Jordan.
Seems the University of Central Florida recruited this young man to play basketball. UCF has a contract with Adidas ....where their athletes ....wear Adidas branded attire.
Marcus agreed to wear the clothing.....but not the shoes. Marcus prefers to wear his daddy's....you may know him.....and his shoe. The most famous basketball player on the planet (Sir Michael ).....and the most famous shoe.....(Air Jordan).
UFC initially said, "No problem".......We can work with Adidas........
Not so fast..........my friend.......
Adidas put their "foot" down.
Adidas has said......."No deal".......If Marcus wants to wear Nike shoes......it will cost you $3 million in sponsorships.
So .......here is a small school........caught in the middle. And .....caught ....not doing their research......thoroughly.......They had to know ...who MJ was. They had to know......MJ's son..would only wear Air Jordan shoes.
Why recruit........a Nike athlete.......to an Adidas school?
And where.......is MJ?........and why hasn't he been heard from in all of this?
I think this just got resolved......at least for a year....(Marcus Jordan, UCF freshman, will trade his Adidas shoes for Nikes this season)........
We will keep you posted....

Hump Day..........News & Views

Sometimes....
We dabble....in a little more....than just .......sports....
Sometimes.......we deal with ..........the real world........politics........current events.....life in general.
This.....is one of those times.....and .....it doesn't feel........half bad.....In fact.......it feels kind of good to express feelings .....not associated with "balls & strikes"....."touchdowns".....or "slam dunks"....
Here's a few stories.......we are following.....
There is an old saying.....
" A fish can never be caught........until....he opens his mouth". Enter that governor of South Carolina.....You know him (Mark Sanford). He is the one who went AWOL ....with his wife.....and state.....and wound up in Argentina having an affair with a lady....(we use that term loosely)........Well, here is what this moron is saying now:
"I don't want to blow up my time in politics," he told the AP. "I don't want to blow up future earning power, I don't want to blow up the kids' lives. I don't want to blow up 20 years that we've invested. But if I'm completely honest, there are still feelings in the way. If we keep pushing it this way, we get those to die off, but they're still there and they're still real.
He has trouble, he said, shutting down the love he feels for Maria Belen Chapur, the Argentine woman he first met in 2001.
Sanford also said he's "crossed the lines" with a handful of other women during 20 years of marriage, but not as far as he did with Chapur and not since the two met.
"Without wandering into that field we'll just say that I let my guard down in all senses of the word without ever crossing the line that I crossed with this situation," he said, referring to his affair with Chapur.
Is this guy dumb? Or just plain stupid? Even .....if you're feeling this.......don't say it publicly....Have some sort of common sense. And dignity....You're a governor....for crying out loud......You....(expletive deleted).......up! You ....are the biggest...(expletive deleted)....on the planet!!!!!!!
And I thought we Georgians ........had a "Gomer Pyle".......as a governor. And this guy.......had aspirations........to some day....be president? Of .....the U S of A??????
Just........shut up!
The.........Michael Jackson ....hysteria .....among the media.....gets wilder by the day.....In their haste to be the first to get news breaking stories........here's just a sample of some head lines........just this week.
And.......remember.......this is only Wednesday.......He's not even buried ........yet....
