We missed "Hump Day"?   Been a rather busy week.......but here's what we've been following:

Gilbert Arenas Charged with Felony

Washington Wizards star Gilbert Arenas has been charged with a felony.

Arenas has been charged with one count of carrying a pistol without a license, in connection with a locker room standoff with teammate Javaris Crittenton on Christmas Eve.

As we first reported, Arenas' lawyer has been trying to negotiate a plea deal with the U.S. Attorney -- we're told Arenas would cop to a misdemeanor gun charge.

CHICAGO, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Mary Thomas, mother of Florida International University basketball Coach Isiah Thomas, has died at age 87, weeks after she had a heart attack, the school said.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Vt., Jan. 14 (UPI) -- Bruce Smith, a Hall of Fame defensive end who played for the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins, pleaded guilty to drunken driving Thursday in Virginia.

Lionel Michaud cried after he found the body of his 10-month-old daughter, Christian, among hundreds of bodies outside the morgue in Port-au-Prince on Thursday. His wife, Lormeny Nathalie, was also killed when their home in a two-story building collapsed while he was at work. More Photos >
