Don't laugh.......it could indeed happen.
Through Friday, June 13th.......the Cubs of Chicago held the best record in all of baseball at 45 - 25. They are in first place in the NL Central. The Cubs just completed a 3 game sweep over the Atlanta Braves.
But........World Champions? Lets' review a few facts.
Chicago has won 2 World Series Championships..........Back to back in 1907 and 1908. So if my math is correct..........it's been 100 years. 100 years since the Cubs won it all.
I say......the Cubs are due. With the help of a cable superstation (WGN) .......I get to watch several Cub games a year. And .........they are pretty good.

The Cubs are now 41-24 on the season as they remain 2.5 games in first place in the Central Division. They are my best team in MLB.
