Keep ...Hope...Alive!

Interesting........being a Georgia Bulldog fan lately.

The football "Dawgs"......underachieved.   The "Gym Dogs" of gymnastics.....are not what they used to be.   The baseball "Diamond Dogs" have hit hard times.

So.......

Bring on the Georgia basketball team....the men.

With a record of 20-10.......UGA tries to get into the NCAA Tournament.....for only the 11th time in school history.

Can it be?

Will it be?

Today......was at least a start.

From the Athens Banner Herald:

Georgia Bulldogs forward Trey Thompkins (33) grabs the rebound in front of Auburn Tigers guard Josh Langford (0) in the first half of their 2011 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament game Thursday March 10, 2011 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. (David Tulis/Staff/david.tulis@onlineathens.com)

Georgia beats Auburn 69-51 in SEC opener

ATLANTA—Georgia may not have definitively wrapped up a spot in the NCAA tournament today, but it did ensure the selection committee won’t have to stare at an ugly loss on the Bulldogs’ resume before bids go out Sunday.
