This was not just another game in the "dog days" of summer baseball.
The Atlanta Braves were hosting the defending world champion San Francisco Giants.
Down to their last out.......their last strike.....the Braves got a walk off 2 run single and beat the Giants and their best relief pitcher.
Which is why we still love the sport of Major League Baseball.
It's not for everyone....but a game like last nights....gets the juices flowing for pennant fever.
