An interesting week .....in the world of the NFL. The two weeks between Championship Sunday and the Super Bowl usually provide a lot of meaningless stories.....
But...... the Tennessee Titans dropped a bombshell in party ways with Jeff Fisher after a 17 year tenure.
I guess nothing lasts forever.....especially in pro sports. Fisher had his issues with QB Vince Young......but seemed like a player's coach.
Maybe it was time to go.
Maybe he needs a new challenge....

Final score......108-3.
Really?
Yes.......108-3. A basketball game.......a girls basketball game.
A game? I think not. A miss-match.....a massacre......
You've got to be kidding me!
Who scheduled this game?
What are we teaching the kids?
I can remember when the girls had different rules......6 on 6.....2 on defense...2 on offense....and 2 "rovers".....who could cross the lines.
But the brain trusts wanted more.......a game more like the boys.....5 on 5.....
And now this...

I am so through with the Atlanta Hawks.....
100-59........loss......at home.
How could this happen?
How could this be?
An NBA team scoring 59 points.....in a game?
So......was it just a bad night?
Or is this just a bad team?
So many questions.......so few answers.
And .......I'm so.......through!

We're blanketed with 10 inches of snow. Nobody's moving. Time...has stood still.
This is the deep south.......it's 27 degrees.... Whatever happened to "Global Warming"?
The only cars passing by.......are the monster trucks ....these "rednecks" drive.
