Dale Jr. NASCAR's most popular driver...but hasn't been a winner for quite a while.
His dad, Dale Earnhardt,Sr. died at this same racetrack. "Senior"...nicknamed the "Intimanater" is probably smiling down from the pearly gates.
Weather...wrecks...fierce driving...This 88 car was prepared to be the fasted car on the track. It was beautiful to watch.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. held off the field to win the Daytona 500 after the race was delayed nearly 6 1/2 hours by rain.
