The lights went out in Georgia..........last night.
Lights went out.......as well as windows, signs, luggage, furniture, and anything that was not securely tied down.
Georgia Dome ........swaying and rocking....
CNN Center ........windows gone........
Georgia World Congress Center.......Flooded........pipes bursting with the changes in air pressure...
Phillips Arena.........pieces of insulation falling from the sky.....
Omni Hotel..............part of the roof is on Peachtree Street.......
Cabbage Town Condominiums ..........pancake collapse of at least 4 floors.......
Oh ......what a night!
The SEC officials postponed the Georgia-Kentucky game............(they played today at Georgia Tech's Alexander Colosseum)
Today..............
It has been a steady stream of storms.............We have had sirens going off since about 2 pm. We have also been under tornado .....warnings........
We did get a hail storm.........golf ball size...........I collected some.........and put them in a plastic bag and into the freezer for non-believers......
There is still a few more bands of storms that...........they say........will include us........in their path......
