A Championship Fight....Nobody Cares About
Such is the state of boxing......There was a heavyweight championship boxing match last night.....but nobody watched.....much less cared about.
Where oh where are you? Ali.......and Frasier?
There is this big Russian guy...We think he is the current champion......Then there are these contenders....who pick fights at the post-match news conference.
Wow ........has boxing sunk to a new low.

Gary Carter.....dead at the tender age of 57.
Those of us in that immediate age group will take notice....And we should take better care of ourselves.

An Embarrassing......Effort
National TV.....Prime Time.....And the Atlanta Hawks?
Embarrassing......to say the least.
This team....sucks.
This team.....has no heart.
This team.....teases us......but when the spot light is on....they just don't show up.
We're tired of this team......seen it before......been there ....done that.

ATLANTA -- LeBron James scored 23 points, Dwyane Wade added 21 and the Miami Heat blew out the Atlanta Hawks 107-87 on Sunday night after racing to a 22-point lead at halftime. The Heat made a big statement in the Southeast Division against the second-place Hawks, leading by as many as 32 points in what turned into nothing more than a showcase for Miami’s stars.

Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno Popped for DUI License Plate Read 'SAUCED'
Denver Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno was arrested for drunk driving in Denver earlier this month ... and in an ironic twist of fate, cops say the license plate on his ride read "SAUCED."
According to the Denver PD, 24-year-old Moreno was driving his convertible Bentley on Feb. 1 when he was pulled over for doing 70 in a 45 ... in a construction zone.
Police say Moreno smelled like booze ... and when he performed poorly on a field sobriety test, they arrested him for DUI.
Cops say Moreno was "very respectful and polite."
The Broncos released a statement ... saying, "We take the incident involving Knowshon Moreno very seriously and are thoroughly reviewing this matter. Our organization will continue to gather information and closely monitor this issue while the legal process runs its course."
