Jason Collins is the first openly gay "active"
basketball player. Collins has an endorsement deal with Nike; however, he is
not currently on any NBA roster. Hum, could it be that he's just not good
enough?
Michael Sam an All-American defensive lineman from Missouri
and the Associated Press' SEC Defensive Player of the Year, said that he is
gay. He has aspirations for going pro and is eligible for the NFL draft in May.
Let's see if he's good enough to play in the NFL.
